Hi, I’m Stephanie!
I’d love to share a little about myself and how Happy Tails came to be…
My love for animals began when I was a child, looking after strays and then eventually caring for my own pets. When I met my dog Blue, I discovered a whole new kind of love. We shared 11 beautiful years together, and he became the inspiration behind Happy Tails—and the reason I want every pet in my care to feel like family.

As Blue grew older, he developed a heart condition. I gave him his medications and cared for his changing needs, doing everything I could to keep him comfortable and help him through his illness. Sadly, his condition progressed quickly, and after being hospitalized, he passed away.
Caring for Blue taught me how much love goes into being there for an animal through every stage of life. I understand how important it is to know that the person caring for your pet will give them the attention, patience, and affection they deserve.
I created Happy Tails by Stephanie to share that love with other pets and their families. Each pet has their own personality, routines, and needs, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
Blue will always be the heart behind Happy Tails. His memory inspires the genuine love and care I bring to every pet.

Full-Day Daycare
$100 / day
Up to 8 hours

Payment details will be provided when your booking is confirmed.
When payment is due
Once we agree on your dates, your pet’s care details, and the total price, I’ll confirm your booking and send payment instructions. Your dates are reserved when the required payment is received.
Overnight stays: A 50% deposit reserves your dates. The remaining balance is due 72 hours before your stay begins.
Walks & drop-ins: Full payment is due 24 hours before the scheduled service.
Daycare: Full payment is due 48 hours before the scheduled service.
Regular weekly clients: Payment for the upcoming week is due before the first scheduled visit.
Last-minute bookings: If your booking is accepted within the payment deadline above, full payment is due when it is accepted.
New clients: We’ll complete a meet & greet and agree on the total price before payment is requested.
Cancellations & refunds: Deposits and advance payments are refundable when the required cancellation notice is given. For late cancellations, only the stated cancellation fee is deducted and the remaining amount is refunded.
Paying with cash? Please arrange payment by the same deadline.
Booking & cancellations
A little notice goes a long way
Please notify me by text at (908) 913-0674 if you need to cancel.
Walks & drop-ins: Cancel at least 24 hours before the service starts for a full refund.
Daycare: Cancel at least 48 hours before the service starts for a full refund.
Overnight stays: Cancel at least 72 hours before the stay begins for a full refund.
Holiday bookings: Cancel at least 7 days before the booking begins for a full refund.
Cancellations after these deadlines are subject to a charge of 50% of the canceled booking total; any remaining advance payment is refunded. If I need to cancel, you’ll receive a full refund. Thank you for respecting the time reserved for your pet.
